What Happens if You're Under 18

• You cannot create an account
• If we discover a minor account, it will be immediately terminated
• All associated data will be permanently deleted without notice
• We do not support parental-consent models

COPPA Compliance (Protection of Under-13s)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and discover your child has a rv-log.com account, contact support@rv-log.com immediately for deletion.

Legal Authority

By using this Service, you confirm that:

• You are legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction
• You are not prohibited by law from using the Service
• You will comply with all applicable laws

3Account Registration & Responsibility

Creating Your Account

To register, you must provide:

• Your name
• A valid email address
• A secure password of your choosing
• Confirmation that you are 18+

Your Account Security

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• If your password is compromised, notify support@rv-log.com immediately
• We are not liable for unauthorized access due to password negligence

Account Information Must Be Accurate

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Providing false information may result in account suspension or termination.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account anytime via Dashboard → Settings → "Delete Account". Upon deletion:

• All personal data is permanently removed within minutes
• Deletion is irreversible
• We cannot recover deleted data

Monthly & Annual Subscriptions

• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew on the same date each month/year
• Cancel Anytime: No penalty or explanation needed
• Non-Refundable: No refunds for current billing period

Mobile App Pricing (Coming Soon)

Payment Processing

• Processor: Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Your Data: We never directly store credit card information
• Failed Payments: We'll retry 1-2 times, then downgrade to Free plan

Pricing Changes

We may change pricing anytime. Changes apply to new subscriptions and renewals, not current active subscriptions. We provide 30 days' notice of significant increases.

5User-Generated Content

You Own Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to:

• Photos and images you upload
• Trip logs and entries
• Text descriptions and personal notes
• All data you create

License to Nomadic Solutions

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Store your content on our servers
• Display it to you and authorized collaborators
• Process it (resize, optimize, generate thumbnails)
• Back it up for disaster recovery

Prohibited Content

Do not upload content that:

🚫 Is Illegal or Harmful

• Violates federal, state, or local law
• Threatens, harasses, or bullies others
• Involves child exploitation or CSAM
• Facilitates illegal activities

🚫 Violates Privacy or Property

• Photos of private residences without permission
• Military installations or government facilities
• Private property photos without owner permission
• Others' personal information without consent

🚫 Is Misleading or False

• Fake speed test results
• Intentionally false campground information
• Impersonation of others

What Happens If You Violate These Rules

• Content will be removed
• Your account may be suspended or terminated
• Repeat violations may result in permanent ban

System & Security

• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service
• Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Perform security testing without written permission
• Disrupt or damage the Service

Data & Scraping

• Scrape or spider the website
• Collect others' personal data without permission
• Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions

Abuse & Harassment

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Send unsolicited bulk emails or spam
• Stalk or reveal private information (doxxing)

Fraud

• Create accounts under false identities
• Engage in fraudulent activities
• Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation

"AS-IS" Service

rv-log.com is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties. We make no guarantees regarding:

• Accuracy or reliability
• Absence of defects or errors
• Uninterrupted operation
• Freedom from viruses

Speed test results are snapshots in time, not guarantees.

• Results do NOT guarantee future performance
• Speeds vary by time of day and network congestion
• WiFi interference affects results
• Cellular speeds vary by provider and coverage
• We cannot guarantee test accuracy

⚠️ Third-Party Services Disclaimer

We integrate with third-party services (Mapbox, Stripe, Cloudflare, etc.). We are NOT responsible for:

• Outages or failures of third-party services
• Data loss caused by third-party failure
• Accuracy of data from third parties
• Changes to third-party APIs or features

⚠️ Data Loss Disclaimer

While we maintain backups, we do NOT guarantee:

• Continuous availability of your data
• Recovery of accidentally deleted data
• Protection against hardware failure

Best Practice: Use "Export My Data" regularly to back up your information locally.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nomadic Solutions LLC shall NOT be liable for:

• Lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data
• Emotional distress or reputational harm
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Your liability is capped at fees paid in the last 12 months (or $100, whichever is less)

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Jurisdiction & Venue

You agree that any legal action shall be brought exclusively in federal or state courts located in Texas. You consent to personal jurisdiction in Texas courts.

Arbitration (Optional)

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, either party may request mediation or arbitration under American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules instead of court proceedings.

Section 230 Safe Harbor

Nomadic Solutions LLC is a platform hosting service provider. Under 47 U.S.C. § 230, we are NOT the publisher of user-generated content. However, we reserve the right to:

• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Cooperate with law enforcement

If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact:

Service Discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service anytime, with or without notice. If discontinued:

• We provide 30 days' notice (when possible)
• You can export your data
• Subscriptions are pro-rated and refunded for unused service (if required by law)

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nomadic Solutions LLC from any claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or user-generated content.
