Platform improvements:
- Geocoding Migration - Location search, reverse geocoding, and state auto-population now run on our own self-hosted Pelias instance instead of a third-party service. Faster and fully under our control.
- Dark Sky / Bortle Rating - Light pollution data for new entries now comes from our self-hosted API. Bortle class descriptions are now pulled directly from the source data.
- Email Verification - New accounts must verify their email before accessing the platform. OAuth users (Google, etc.) are exempt. Unverified accounts are automatically cleaned up after 7 days.
- Registration - Added separate age confirmation (18+) and terms acceptance checkboxes with distinct validation messages.
- Navigation Consistency - Legal pages (Terms, Privacy) now use the shared navbar include, so nav updates apply everywhere automatically.
